On that hot summer day I did not imagine I would be a wife. Not to this man, a United States Marine. I never once as a little girl pictured myself standing on the side of a bus with tears running down my face, waving good bye to my husband. I never once as a little girl played deployment with my Barbie dolls. I did not have dreams of sleeping alone at night wiping my tears on the dog. But this is my life as I know it. It is the most awful, amazing, cruel, beautiful life you can imagine. This is my collection of stories, my journal entries, my thoughts, and my opinions on my life as a military wife.
As your cousin i would have never pictured you moving away and marrying a marine either, but as god has plans for everyone his plan worked out for you the way it should of been, you got out and you have made something of yourself you have a loving husband and even though he may be gone a lot the relationship yall have will stay strong forever....when i was little i always thought we would marry country boys and live on a farm but both of us have found wonderful husbands that can give us things we could have never imagined when we were younger, our barbies didnt even have the life that we have now :)
